Happy Holidays — Celebrate Them All
Happy Holidays, dear friends.
This season can be filled with sparkle, gatherings, and celebration—but it can also be tender, complicated, and heavy for many. If that’s you, please know you’re not alone. This is a time of year that asks a lot of us, so above all else, I invite you to be kind—to others, and especially to yourself.
Allow yourself to feel all the things. Joy and peace. Sadness and grief. Gratitude and frustration. There is no “right” way to feel during the holidays. Whatever shows up for you, let it be felt. There is wisdom in honoring your truth.
Whoever or whatever you worship, lean in. Pray, meditate, walk in nature, light a candle, sit in silence, or sing. This time of year holds many sacred celebrations across cultures and traditions—Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Kwanzaa, Yule, and beautiful Indigenous and Native American ceremonies that honor the turning of the seasons, the ancestors, and the deep relationship between land, sky, and spirit. There is so much being celebrated right now. All of it matters. All of it is worthy of respect.
Do the things that bring you peace. Maybe it’s a quiet morning, a warm cup of tea, time in the forest, creating art, resting, or saying no when you need to. Put yourself first. Set your boundaries and keep them strong. You are allowed to protect your energy.
Let people know you love them—in big ways and small ones. Enjoy the little things: twinkling lights, shared laughter, a meaningful conversation, the stillness of winter. Turn down the outside noise. Unplug when you can. Recharge your body, heart, and spirit.
Look for moments of gratitude, even tiny ones. And please remember this:
YOU are loved. You are needed. You are enough—exactly as you are.
Happy Holidays.
Celebrate them all. 🌟
Love, Karen
