Last week, I had the honor and privilege of hosting a Mini Vision Quest from the top of Mount Umunhum in San Jose California. This was a day I had been looking forward to for a long time.

This sacred Mountain overlooks the entire Bay Area. On a clear day you can see all the way to San Francisco & Oakland, you can see the foothills & estuaries of the East Bay, to the West you can see the Pacific Ocean and as far as Lover’s Point in Pacific Grove which is just South of the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Some days this mountain is completely covered in clouds. If you want to be one with a cloud, this is a place you can do that. On the day of our Mini Vision Quest we were blessed with a bright blue Sky filled with beautiful scattered clouds.
We spent most of our day on the top of the Mountain. We started by going to the very tippy top…to the very highest rock. From there we Called In The Directions including Father Sky and Mother Earth. And then, we drummed in the sacred circle. There were many other beautiful moments and teachings throughout the day that will not be forgotten.
The next Mini Vision Quest I am hosting will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019. We will be visiting a MAGICAL FOREST and we will be learning ancient cleansing techniques. While in the forest, I will teach you to make your own rain stick…so FUN! I’m excited about this special day. We will be going on this quest rain or shine.
