Mini Vision Quest – Cleansing Forest

Cleanse and Rejuvenate Your Soul!  Unplug for just a day and get a feel for what a traditional “vision quest” is all about. Karen Adamski, Shamanic Practitioner, will guide you in spiritual journeying & ancient shamanic practices that will teach you to ground to Mother Earth. You will probably run into an animal helper or two! If shamanism calls to you, this will be a day that will fill your soul. This full-day trip will include a BALANCE of connecting with NATURE, connecting with your INNER-CHILD (yes, a fun craft project will happen!), connecting with SPIRIT, and HONORING YOURSELF.

Enjoy a day of cleansing and grounding within a beautiful and damp forest.  Cleansing waters make their way to us in many different ways.  Come hang out with, and learn from, the Salamanders and Banana Slugs in a beautiful forest located on the Eastern side of the Santa Cruz Mountain Range. Don’t worry, we will stay warm.  Rain gear is recommended, as are warm/water-resistant shoes.  Old sneakers, hiking boots, or rain boots would do well.  This day will include a moderate hike of just over 1 mile. We will make some other fun and interesting stops throughout the day.

Site details and itinerary will be provided upon registration. Carpool and caravan will be happening from San Jose to the East side of the Santa Cruz Mountains and back to San Jose. Save $20 at registration if you choose to be a carpool driver. All students will be required to bring a water bottle, bag lunch, money for dinner, layered clothing, waterproof walking shoes, raingear, an offering for Mother Earth, a sitting blanket and a journal (a packing list will be provided to you prior to the event). Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult throughout the day.
