Mini Vision Quest

Stand Tall and Strong on Sacred Land! Unplug for just a day and get a feel for what a traditional “vision quest” is all about. Karen Adamski, Shamanic Practitioner, will guide you in spiritual journeying & ancient shamanic practices that will teach you to ground to Mother Earth. You will probably run into an animal helper or two! If shamanism calls to you, this will be a day that will fill your soul. This full-day trip will include a BALANCE of connecting with NATURE, connecting with your INNER-CHILD (yes, a fun craft project will happen!), connecting with SPIRIT, and HONORING YOURSELF.

History & Healing – Mount Umunhum and Beyond: We will begin this day by circling up upon the top of Mount Umunhum. This spot has been considered sacred land since people first lived here. Native Ohlone Tribes still worship, practice and celebrate here. We will spend time as a group healing this sacred Mountain. We will step back in time and travel to other spots on/around the Mountain as we explore both nature and history. I will even take you to one of my favorite pioneer graveyards that is filled with spirit activity. Hiking for the day is easy to moderate with options for those who want more of a challenge. Overall we will hike up to 2 miles. More details to follow.

Site details and itinerary will be provided upon registration. Carpool and caravan will be happening from San Jose to the top of Mt Umunhum and back to San Jose. Save $20 at registration if you choose to be a carpool driver. All students will be required to bring a water bottle, bag lunch, and money for dinner. A packing list will be provided to you prior to the event. Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult throughout the day. *a minimum of 5 preregistered students required.
