When I was a little girl, I love to play in my friend Becky Armstrong’s back yard because she had a cool play house with a Dutch door. We had the best time playing ‘general store’ and ‘post office’. Ever since then I have always wanted a Dutch door.
This slide show shows from start to finish, how we created our own Dutch door, while giving a second life to an old door from the historic Fort Ord Military Base in Monterey California.
Now I can play ‘post office’ everyday! 🙂
