I had never realized there are no holidays in August.  My moment of realization came when my friend Vikki Bows-Mok invited our family to a party in August, and we were to come dressed as a holiday.

How fun is that?

It was neat to see all of the creative costumes, and it was fun to be silly for a few hours.  This party felt like good medicine to me.

Here’s a quick look at the fun holiday party.
