If you have yet to experience the joy de vivre of Mardi Gras\, let us help you check it off your bucket list!\n  \nGet ready to join co-hosts\, Michelle and Karen\, for four days full of fun\, music\, and celebration in the heart of New Orleans. Join us February 26 – March 2\, as we immerse ourselves in the vibrant culture of Mardi Gras\, enjoy delicious food\, and watch parades street side while letting the good times roll!\n  \nThe Francois part of the family on Michelle’s side has deep roots in Louisiana\, so it’s like coming home! Karen can’t wait to put her paranormal expertise to use as we stay in one of the most haunted cities in America!\n\nThere will be plenty of opportunities to take in all that New Orleans has to offer. Let’s wander under the gigantic Oaks at Audubon Park\, and sip coffee with beignets at the famous Cafe du Monde in the French Quarter. Let’s catch beads during parades\, devour Gumbo and King Cake\, and tap our feet to the passing marching bands. Additionally\, optional tours will be available such as: Food & Bites Tour\, Swamp Tour\, Plantation Tour\, and Garden Walk and Cemetery Tour (subject to interest of group).\n  \nWe will be staying in a comfy cozy\, 2300 square foot iconic “shotgun” home (original to NOLA)\, conveniently located within walking distance to the all things\, including cable cars.\n  \nNOLA Mardi Gras FLOW\nWednesday \n4 PM – Arrival & Happy Hour \n6 PM – Dinner \n7 PM – Opening Circle \nThursday – Saturday \n8 AM – Breakfast \nTBD: Parades & Tours \n6 PM – Dinner (out or in depending on parade/tour times) \nSunday \n8 AM – Breakfast \n9 AM – Closing Circle \n10 AM – Pack Up & Head Out \nIf you have been waiting to do this once in a lifetime trip with a group of amazing women who aren’t afraid to grab some beads\, and celebrate\, JOIN US! DESCRIPTION:Let’s Gather and Quest\nWhat’s a Mini Vision Quest? … It’s a one-day event\, spent in nature\, solitude\, creativity\, and inner thought.  This is a day to intentionally UNPLUG from the fast-paced world\, and PLUG-IN to nature. \nA Mini Vision Quest is meant to give you a small peek at what a traditional  would look like. \nAlthough this is only one day of intentionally stepping away from the world\, it will serve you well.   By the end of the day\, you should feel clarity in your head\,  a slowing down of your energy/heart rate\,  a new awareness of the beauty around you\, a closer connection to nature\, and a bit more balance in your soul. \nPack your lunch and water for the day\, wear your walking shoes\, wear an extra layer\, and you’ll be good to go. \nA craft lesson will be included at the end of the day.  All supplies will be included. \nAdditionally\, this day includes guided meditation\, spiritual guidance\, and lessons about the land and animals. \nThis event is intentionally held on a weekday (Wednesday) for two reasons.  One\, the park will be less crowded.  And two\, it is powerful to intentionally take a day for yourself.  Not to run errands\, but to heal and fuel your mind\, body\, and spirit. Chances are you would advise a loved one to do this\, so why not yourself? \nThis is an all day event.  9:00am – 4:00pm.  $55 per participant
