SUMMARY:Mini Vision Quest
DESCRIPTION:GO With The FLOW! Unplug for just a day and get a feel for what a traditional “vision quest” is all about. Karen Adamski\, Shamanic Practitioner\, will guide you in spiritual journeying & ancient shamanic practices that will teach you to ground to Mother Earth. You will probably run into an animal helper or two! If shamanism calls to you\, this will be a day that will fill your soul. This full-day trip will include a BALANCE of connecting with NATURE\, connecting with your INNER-CHILD (yes\, a fun craft project will happen!)\, connecting with SPIRIT\, and HONORING YOURSELF. \nWe will be playing in the Santa Cruz Mountain area. Explore the forest\, climb boulders\, put your feet (or your whole gorgeous body) into the bubbling waters of a beautiful river\, or float in one of it’s still pools. Connect with your inner child. Connect with Mother Nature as you ground\, release\, and heal. The overall hiking for this day will be approximately 2 miles\, which is easy to moderate. There is some amount of boulder and root hiking required\, but it is doable for most anyone if you take it slow and stick with a buddy. Many of our Elders often visit this spot which to me is a sign that most anyone can do it. We will make a few fun stops throughout out day as well! \nSite details and itinerary will be provided upon registration. Carpool and caravan will be happening from San Jose to the West side of the Santa Cruz Mountains and back to San Jose. Save $20 at registration if you choose to be a carpool driver. All students will be required to bring a water bottle\, bag lunch\, money for dinner\, layered clothing\, walking shoes\, an offering for Mother Earth\, a sitting blanket and a journal (a packing list will be provided to you prior to the event). Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult throughout the day. \n  \n*a minimum of 5 preregistered students required.

DESCRIPTION:Please join me in my backyard for this sacred experience where we bring in and connect with the energy of the Full Moon. YOU deserve this!! We will use drums\, rattles and other percussion instruments to heal\, and send energy to Mother Earth\, Grandmother Moon\, ourselves\, and each other. If you have your own percussion interment(s) please feel bring them with you. If you don’t; I have lots of fun tools to share. \nPlease bring a mat or blanket to sit on.  Everyone is welcome.
